Self-initiated visual identity concept for an architectural practice, margiela + tomás. The identity reflects the geometric architectural forms of an archway. Containing the letter ‘m’ and inside of it the letter ’t’ it forms a simple, unique and easily recognised logo mark that embodies architecture; making three-dimensional objects cohesively work together.
A flexible-use logo mark and word mark can be used across many applications including business cards, website, social media and other related collateral. The typography is friendly but professional more modern than traditional that benefits from legibility at small and large sizes. The black and white colour palette is very refined and allows for the greatest usage across applications. Sunrise Orange is also used as a secondary colour not to overwhelm but to draw the eye.
