Hello! 👋‹

I'm Damian Herrington, a freelance logo and visual identity designer from the UK with a focus on creating meaningful creative brand identities. And because I run a one man business this allows me to work closely with you to make your vision visible from the beginning to the end.

Background

In west Philadelphia born and raised on the playground...wait nope no...I've been an independent / freelance website designer since 2009 and since then it's been such a joy to work with individuals, entrepreneurs, SMEs and design agencies working across a range of industries creating digital experiences.

Between 2005 to 2008 I attended Lincoln University studying Internet Computing and wrote my dissertation on re-building a website, I was hooked! After graduating with honours I was unfortunately amongst the financial crisis, finding it difficult to get an interview never mind an actual job! Back home, Hulls' Chamber of Commerce were doing self-employment courses and that's how my independent / freelance career started. In 2009 I began working with local businesses & design agencies building websites, firstly static HTML, CSS & Javascript then moving onto using WordPress developing custom and e-commerce based solutions.

In late 2017 early 2018 I wanted to start a new chapter, creating visual identities. I'm currently on a mission to hone a new skill-set and slowly wind-down WordPress development which has given me so much up until this point. I love how a good story translated into a beautiful brand can generate business success and I can't wait to work with you!

I'm a football #COYG and motorsport fan, love being outdoors walking, making lists and Netflix binger (part-time of course 😉).

REAL DESIGN

"œDamian took over the design and coding of our site after several previous attempts with other designers / developers. He was able to swiftly and competently answer our question, make the changes we requested to the design and fix the functionality issues we had. The result is a web site that we are very pleased with."

"œDamian managed to really distill the core ideas and message that I wanted to present and managed to produce an elegant and coherent platform to showcase Parkr in all his glory."
